Vintage Position x 2 (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

TVS are looking for 2 people to join our team in casual positions for the 2020 vintage, starting Mid February to Mid April, 2020 – Apporx 8 weeks

Please note: This position does not contribute to the 2nd year Visa application

Jobs will include tractor driving and all vineyard operations including accompanying a mechanical harvester during picks, some machinery maintenance, refueling, transporting, setting up and washing down of machinery. Other vineyard operations such as netting and support hand picking crews will also occur.

The following strengths are what we are looking for in a candidate:-

  • Must have experience operating Tractors / Machinery
  • Ability to follow instructions and follow through with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and working as part of a team
  • Punctual, reliable, enthusiastic and flexible.
  • Able to understand and uphold safety standards as per legislation and    company policies. 
  • Ability to work shifts as required – 24 hour flexibility and availability,  including day / night / weekends during Vintage.

Current Driver's license is essential; medium rigid or heavier is highly preferential but not essential, as is a forklift license.
