    Who we are

    Gioiello Estate is a boutique, 22 acre, vineyard located within a picturesque valley at the base of Mount Concord in Molesworth, Victoria .

    Here we grow four varieties of grape including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Shiraz.

    Our happy little team of five needs your help to nurture the vines ready for the 2020 harvest.

    We are currently looking to employ a Vineyard Assistant for up to 20 weeks with the option for continued seasonal work for the right applicant.

    The role:

    Under the guidance of the Vineyard Supervisor, you will carry out a broad range of day-to-day viticulture activities, these include;

  • removing secondary shoots from the grapevines,
  • thinning out of grape and leaf clusters on the grapevines,
  • removal of shoots growing from the base of the trunks,
  • assistance with netting the grapevines,
  • assisting contract pickers during harvest

    The candidate:

    We are seeking a candidate who is;

  • responsible and accountable,
  • has a current drivers licence,
  • is physically fit and able to undertake manual labour,
  • enjoys practical activities and working in nature,
  • has an ability to work quickly and reliably both as part of a team and independently,
  • aware of safety processes and procedures

    Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid Australian work permit.
