Direct Sales Assistant - Wine Industry (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Baileys of Glenrowan is a renowned family-owned winery in North East Victoria, producing globally acclaimed wines for almost 150 years. We are seeking an enthusiastic Direct Sales Assistant to join us at our historic winery near Wangaratta.

Reporting to the Cellar Door & 1870 Club Manager, the successful applicant will work across all areas of direct sales including our Cellar Door, 1870 Wine Club and Old Block Cafe. The role is offered on a full-time basis across a five day working week. 

Role requirements - 

• Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable service to our Cellar Door visitors and 1870 Wine Club members. 
• Accurate and timely administration of the 1870 Club Wine Club, including co-ordination of our bi-annual wine club dispatches. 
• Assist with additional administrative functions such as reconciliation, sales reporting and stocktake. 
• Assist with the delivery of our calendar of events, including in-house, off-site and private functions. 

The successful applicant will have - 

• A demonstrated history of exceptional customer service. 
• Relevant experience in a winery and/or tourism setting. 
• All round IT skills, with some exposure to database management/CRM software and digital marketing. 
• Impeccable organisational skills with a proven ability to plan ahead and prioritize workload. 
• A genuine love of wine and food,
