An exciting position in a dynamic company located in the Rutherglen Wine Region.
You will be responsible for the direct marketing and tourism management of one of Australia's most iconic wineries and associated businesses.
Ensuring a high level of service and creative promotions to our direct members and e-commerce customers with a contemporary perspective. Collaborating with the hospitality & retail team, you will be charged to also drive tourism through a strategic and creative approach for all our venues and in turn, make them lifelong customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Direct Marketing
- Responsible for planning, budgeting, implementing and evaluating direct marketing and sales campaigns
- Improve membership retention and attrition of the membership base
- Improve, maintain and segment data to enhance programs and drive sales
- Mentor the customer service team to generate and improve sales, promote the brands and products and services.
- Production of reports for the directors on a monthly basis.
- Staff Training
Tourism Marketing
- Plan, develop, budget and implement tourism marketing strategies that will attract visitors increase yield and in-turn increase direct marketing sales.
- Ensure all online affiliated tourism content for all brands are up to date and accurate.
- Participate as an ambassador for all brands in the local tourism environment.
- Present a positive and professional image and tone to customers and the external environment.
- Participate professionally, positively and proactively as a member of the Senior Management team.
In order to succeed in this position, you will have:
- Degree qualified in one or more of the following disciplines – direct marketing and /or communications.
- Proven track record of sales and marketing
- Knowledge and understanding of the changing IT environment, strong PC and Mac skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and cloud tools such as Mailchip and Survey Monkey.
- Must be a team player and willing to be hands on.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- An understanding of wine, tourism and luxury segments and their benefits
- An understanding of hospitality environment
- Solid planning, project management and implementation skills
