Wine Bar Manager - Stickybeak Wine (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Located in trendy West End and backed by private equity, we are a brand-new wine bar opening our doors in June/July.

Our unique offering compliments the bustling and vibrant scene of close-by West Village, Melbourne Street and Fish Lane and at our bar the very best of Australian and international wines take centre stage.

As an experienced Manager and wine professional, you will lead a small team with responsibility for rostering, setting up processes and procedures and imparting your exceptional knowledge of Australian and international wines.

Open Tuesday to Sunday 4pm – 11pm you will be the face of our bar and an ambassador for our selection of top-rated, award-winning wines.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience managing a wine bar.
  • Exceptional knowledge of wines and ability to impart this to the staff and customers in an engaging manner.
  • Current RSA.
  • experience and background working in a small venue, multitasking, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Passion and appreciation of Australian and international wines and wine regions,
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
