AVL is currently seeking a dedicated, reliable and team focused individual, with demonstrated production and manufacturing process experience, to join the team at our Merbein Packaging Facility on a permanent, full time basis.

Reporting to the Packaging Manager, this position will see you play a key role in ensuring that all standard line productivity and bottling quality standards are achieved. You will also have a strong focus on Health & Safety standards and be committed to ensuring continuous improvement and adherence in this area. With strong, demonstrated capabilities in troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision making, this opportunity will see you take your career to the next level as a leader.

Key responsibilities will also include:

• Preparation of packaging lines utilising mechanical and computer skills;
• Supervise and assist staff with the operation of equipment and machinery on a daily basis;
• Adhere to and enforce all Standard Operating Procedures;
• Manage and maintain dry goods for production and record wastage;
• Carry out routine line set ups as per schedule requirements; and
• Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Merbein site.

Extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role, within a manufacturing and production environment, coupled with your excellent communication, and organisational skills, as well as your attention to detail will be paramount to your success. Forklift license is essential.
