Preston Peak Winery Function Centre is one of Queensland’s leading wedding and function venues. Located just 10 minutes south of Toowoomba, the venue specialises in beautiful, personal weddings and events. With its stunning views, first class facilities and superb catering the venue has a reputation for excellence in service and food. 

Our team take great pride in our venue and the service we provide. Team members are expected to be positive, motivated and enthusiastic, and reliability is paramount. A high level of personal presentation is required and expected by our clientele. Some training will be provided, however a reasonable level of experience in similar roles is required. 

With an extremely busy wedding and function season approaching, we are looking for several new team members. Full availability for evening and weekend work is essential.

Front of House – Casual (approximately 20-30 hours per week) 

Duties include (but are not limited to): 

  • Delivering food and beverage service in a professional and at times discreet manner
  • Ensuring that rooms are set-up correctly and within a timely fashion
  • Cleaning and polishing of glassware, cutlery etc
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment  
  • Provide a warm, friendly and professional service to our guests 

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a busy function or restaurant environment required         ·
  • Current RSA certificate essential         ·
