Brown Brothers’ Kayena Winery is a leading producer of quality cool climate Tasmanian wines. Founded in 1994 as Tamar Ridge Estates, the name has changed but the ethos is the same; to provide consumers with a variety of quality still and sparkling wines to enjoy at any occasion.
Located north of Launceston in the renowned Tamar Valley, the winery draws grapes from a wide range of sites throughout Tasmania, processing approximately 3,000 tonnes annually.
The Job:
Reporting to the Winemaker the successful applicants will have had at least three (3) year’s vintage/cellar experience, significant forklift operating experience and a current Australian Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Forklift License). Computer skills, a mechanical aptitude and a strong focus on attention to detail are essential as is supervisory experience and the ability to follow instructions with safety of self and others as a primary consideration.
Essential:
At least three (3) year’s vintage/cellar experience, significant forklift operating experience and given the location of the Winery, a drivers licence and access to a vehicle will be important. It’s important to note - applicants who have Australian citizenship, residency or a valid work permit PLUS an Australian Forklift Licence (Licence to Perform High Risk Work) will be considered favourably.
