The opportunity
We are currently seeking both permanent and casual experienced cellar hands who are enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about wine to work alongside our winemaking team in Tanunda, South Australia.
As a Cellar Hand, you will assist in all aspects of the winery operations including:
- Fruit receival and processing
- Racking/transfer wine movements
- General additions and fining work
- Fermentation and cap management
- Barrel work
- Filtration
- Forklift operations
- Winery sanitation and cleaning
- Winery/equipment maintenance
- Documentation and data handling
About you
We are seeking self-motivated, team orientated people who take pride in their work.
The successful candidates will have:
- Previous experience in vintage or winemaking operations is highly preferred.
- Current drivers license and forklift license
- Highly organised with strong initiative
- Be physically fit and able to perform physical work for extended periods
As many of the winery activities are seasonal, there is a requirement that some work will be undertaken outside normal work hours during vintage.
