We are currently looking for an experienced Cellar Hand to join our team in Tanunda, Barossa. This is a great opportunity to join our busy, hands on team and experience all aspects of the winemaking and production business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Stock control including stock takes, management and periodic checks to maintain stock integrity.
- Quality control, blending of wine, handling and additions in preparation of bottling team.
- Unloading of bulk wine, bulk wine transfers.
- Documentation and data handling, MYOB preferred.
- Laboratory analysis skills is highly regarded.
Successful candidates should be
- Minimum 5 years of cellar experience
- attention to detail and have a proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Willing to be an allrounder, chip in anywhere to meet deadlines.
- Possess good interpersonal skills.
- Effective planning, organising and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and to mentor/supervise cellar staff
- Current Drivers Licence
- WH&S understanding
