A wine distribution company working with a diverse range of producers from Australia and overseas, supplying to notable restaurants, wine bars and retail outlets, is seeking to appoint an aspiring and motivated sales representative to join its team. This wine company is offering an attractive employment package for the right candidate.
This role will suit a highly motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about wine, relishes autonomy and is committed to joining an exciting wine business on its journey during a growth period.
While this is a full-time role, for the right candidate, we can consider more flexible hours.
The role will include:
- Securing existing customers while procuring and developing new customer accounts, throughout NSW, on & off-premise.
- Actively working with other staff members to provide its clients with the highest level of customer service.
- Conducting premium trade and consumer wine tastings and events (including interstate).
- Achievement of distribution and growth targets.
- Sharing of knowledge and insights of the industry.
Essential
- Sales experience
- Negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for wine
- Demonstrated ability to plan & execute sales strategies.
- Great organisational / time-management skills and good computer skills.
- A positive, friendly attitude and a desire to succeed.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Ability to work autonomously, and as a part of a team.
- Full drivers license
- Own a car
Desired (not essential)
- Sales experience in a business-to-business environment (preferably within the wine/liquor industry).
- Completion of wine education courses.
- Established network of customer relationships in Australia.
