Liquid and Larder are looking for Venue, Bar and Restaurant Managers to join our growing team where we recognise the importance of exceptional leadership in creating a happy, motivated and purpose-driven team. As such, we are searching for managers across all our venue ready to inspire, and confident to bring about positive change and growth. Leading to an exceptional experience for our guests.
The Venues
The Rover is a timeless neighbourhood staple in the belly of Surry Hills, boasting a buzzing cocktail bar with an fun wine list to complement the food on the ground floor and an intimate dining room upstairs. On approach from the street, the promise of great conversation and affable hospitality lures you inside to be greeted like an old friend.
The Bistecca experience begins by pulling up a stool or a candle-lit table in the old-world, wood-panelled cocktail bar, stocked with amari from across the world and our Four Pillars classic Negroni on tap. Moving into the intimate 50-seat restaurant, you’re greeted by warm hospitality. From the table, take in our famous Bistecca butcher’s block and open hearth, which fills the dining room with timeless warmth. The space then flows to a bottle-lined enoteca (wine room) available for semi - private dining.
The Gidley, located in Sydney’s CBD, is an American-inspired steak house, where fine-dining meets semi-respectable displays of gluttony. Opened in 2019, The Gidley has become one of Sydney’s finest restaurants known for its opulent fit out, outstanding food & beverage offering and proven track record to provide exceptional hospitality.
Alfie's pushes the boundaries and is unapologetically dynamic, fast-paced and impactful while still delivering world-class food, drinks and service. The new concept, which has not yet been seen in Sydney, is set to disrupt the CBD’s ever emerging trend of American steakhouses and grand brasseries, offering a premium alternative with exceptional value for money along with it’s very own butchery & ageing room.
About the Roles:

- You need to be adaptable to wear multiple hats
- Understanding the importance of leadership
- Share your skills and experience with your team
- Full time, work a maximum of 45 hours a week
- Enthusiasm to collaborate & support with current management team
