About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing privately owned liquor company, developing and maintaining your designated territory from Sydney Metro, Wollongong and the Eastern Suburbs. Reporting to the state sales manager of NSW/ACT, your existing knowledge of the liquor industry and existing customer base will be highly beneficial in this sought-after role.
Duties Include
- Managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Developing new business within the set territory
- Driving sales of our internationally recognised brands
- Merchandising to increase brand awareness
- Develop a high standard of both product and industry knowledge
- Guide store managers with product positioning and promotions
- Report marketing initiatives and competitor's promotions
To be successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of the liquor industry
- Comprehensive planning, communication and negotiation skills
- Cold calling experience
- Current & Valid Driver's licence
- Current RSA
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using a CRM program
- Existing business relationships
Your ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively coupled with great interpersonal skills will see you strive within this territory. You will be a driven individual being achievement and results focused, a high level of integrity is a must as we are here to support our independents and help them succeed in a competitive environment.
Highly regarded candidates will already have FMCG or Liquor category experience, with a proven sales track record, you will be charismatic, dynamic and a real go getter, and most importantly a team player.
