We’re looking for someone just like this:
- You love selling (preferably wine). You’re good at it. You meet targets and can clearly demonstrate this. You’ve got a strategic mind, high standards and plenty of ambition.
- You love wine. Not just drinking it but learning about it, understanding its many variances, telling the stories behind the wines.
- You’re an excellent communicator. You’re happy to pick up your phone, shoot off a dozen emails and arrange face-to-face meetings, all before lunch. You’re persistent but not intrusive, because you know how to read people and their situation, and you tailor your approach accordingly.
- You have a firm handshake, a genuine smile and you make eye contact when you talk to people. You constantly deliver a remarkable customer experience. People like you.
- You thrive on working autonomously, but you understand that you have to account for your actions.

Please note, only those with the permanent right to live and work in Australia should apply, and having a current driver's licence and your own car is essential. You must have had some wine sales experience, at least as a restaurant sommelier. This is not a job for the faint-hearted but the rewards are substantial.
