About the business
Wholesale Wine Services are a market leading fine wine distributor with portfolios across the eastern seaboard. Focus is the on-premise market. Our portfolios are made up of iconic Australian, New Zealand and European brands. We are looking for expressions of interest from experienced wine sales professionals with industry knowledge, passion, expertise and commitment to join our Nelson Wine co. team. As an established Area Manager in NSW, you will service the Northern Suburbs of Sydney and capitalise on continued growth in an ever growing territory, and focus on developing new business opportunities with an understanding of the on-premise market a prerequisite.
About the role
As a senior area manager you will service and grow a portfolio of established accounts within the Sydney area, in addition to focusing on developing new business.Your energy and enthusiasm will have produced excellent results for you in the past and this is an opportunity to bring those skills to a rewarding business.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, strong communicator, who demonstrates a high level of integrity and honesty, is organized and professionally presented.

Skills and experience
We are seeking applicants with:
- strong wine knowledge
- wine industry experience & existing local networks essential
- demonstrated experience in a sales position
- experience & passion for wine and the hospitality industry
- a commitment to building strong business relationships
- understanding of what excellent customer service is all about
- a willingness to work in a dynamic team environment
Minimum of 5 years sales experience in wine sales essential
