St Maur Wines is a well-established family owned winery producing premium cool climate wines. St Maur Wines is located in the heart of one of Australia's newest cool climate appellations, the Southern Highlands, NSW and is part of the gentle revolution of the new generation winemakers. St Maur vineyard spans over 16 acres and the fruit from our vineyard is used exclusively in our flagship wines. Our wines are listed in some top restaurants in Sydney and have been selected by re-own NSW sommeliers.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate wine sale professional, with a sound understanding of the NSW market and a commitment to manage and grow our On and Off Premise business.
Working closely with and reporting to the Exeter Office, the successful applicant will be responsible for building quality distribution and brand awareness of the portfolio in line with annual sales budgets and stretch targets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- identifying and developing key customers in both on and off premise channels
- with a focus on mid- to high-end on-premise accounts, independent chain retailers and boutique stores;
- building long term trading relationships with key venues and groups
- providing a high level of customer service and attention to detail
- meeting sales targets and regular weekly sales reporting
- Expanding distribution channels
- delivering brand education and training to customer accounts
- maximising promotional opportunities including conducting regular wine tastings
Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid Australian work permit.

Skills and experience
Job Requirements
- Proven background in sales with the ability to work autonomously.
- Determination and ability to consistently source new business and add value to existing business.
- Accountable for agreed business plans and sales targets.
- Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office along with strong communication skills
- Have a clear understating of Australian wine styles and regions.
- Have a current driver's licence and NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
