Outstanding opportunity to join Handpicked Wines, a global wine company based in Sydney that invites wine drinkers to travel the world one wine at a time.
You will be responsible for driving growth within the Global Travel Retail (GTR) channel. This role offers a diverse range of target accounts: duty free stores, airlines, cruise ships and trains.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving sales in key accounts as per budget expectations
- Identifying and delivering new business across the channel
- Negotiating favourable terms and promotional campaigns
- Developing annual sales plans and budgets in conjunction with manager
- Managing all internal and external stakeholder relationships professionally to enhance business outcomes
- Working closely with sales teams/activation team to ensure marketing plans are executed appropriately
- Adhering to best practice in all administration-related areas and provide concise communication with all key stakeholders
- Managing brand channel strategy
- Running regular sessions for staff education and brand awareness/promotion
You have a proven record of nurturing and developing stakeholder relationships (internal and customer-facing). GTR or export account experience is preferred, though not essential, as training will be provided for the right applicant. Your experience is complemented by your sound negotiation skills, commercial acumen, analytical and relationship-building abilities and a passion for wine. WSET qualifications are desirable.
