The Client:
Our client is a global leader in Wines & Spirits market. Established more than 40 years ago our client has undergone sustained development, based on both organic growth and acquisitions. Today they hold one of the most prestigious brand portfolios in the Industry.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the National Business Manager, this role is responsible for achieving objectives with key national on-premise customers. These are international / national hotels, restaurants and bar groups. For this position you need to be result focused with proven on proven on premise key account management experience within FMCG or Liquor industry
Job Requirements:
- Develop and implement joint business plans that achieve both PRA sales, marketing and trade spend objectives as well as trading partners’ key objectives.
- Negotiate and maintain trading terms and maintain total trade spend levels within budget.
- Work closely with Shopper Marketing, and the Field Sales Managers to execute promotional activity that delivers on size and scale.
- Conduct detailed Promotional analysis and provide insights to trade partners and activate promotional opportunities based on insights.
- Establish PRA as a leader in information sharing and category analysis for the Spirits & Wine categories through regular performance review with key customer staff to assess category opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of two years FMCG account management experience, with a strong understanding of the On Premise channel.
- A sound knowledge of wine, champagne and spirit categories supported by formal training or education.
- A passion for on premise and our brands combined with a positive can do attitude
- Strong financial skills and an understanding of the business planning process
- Strong understanding of the Selling techniques, including negotiation skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline would be advantageous however not essential
