Marketing Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Tyrrell’s Wines is a family owned wine company operating in the Hunter Valley since 1858. We are seeking a full time Marketing Coordinator with digital know-how to support the Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be based in our Sydney office in Macquarie Park. The role requires a start date of early-mid August.

You will be responsible for:-

• • Developing an understanding of the wine market, consumers, customers and competitors.
  • Creation and production of marketing materials including external communications, advertising as well as POSM and merchandise.
  • Taking a brief and producing creative concepts in short timeframes to meet organisation requirements, whilst adhering to design principles and brand guidelines.
  • Taking ownership of event management for consumer and trade tastings and being a Tyrrell’s representative at these events, some of which fall on weekends.
  • Development, writing and execution of press releases.
  • Managing and coordinating external partnerships and sponsor activity.
  • Responsibility for updating content and managing website copy.
  • Having knowledge and experience with the best practice in Social Media.
  • Leading the social media strategy and working in conjunction with the wider Marketing team to increase engagement levels across different platforms.
  • Competence with the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign is desired. 

You will be energetic, creative and a self-starter that gets on with the job. You will support the Marketing Manager with the successful execution of marketing activity in a timely manner. Your background will boast blue chip marketing experience with some exposure to digital marketing, preferably in the alcohol industry, but equally it could be in FMCG, Luxury Goods, media or some other related area. You will have a track record of achievement and will have demonstrated impact on the products/services for which you were responsible. Your referees will describe you as a high-calibre, energetic marketer with great potential.
