GT Wine and Vintage Cellars Cellar Press magazine is looking for a subeditor to join our vibrant team in our newly renovated open-plan warehouse office in Surry Hills. GT Wine is the leader in wine content creation, in both print and digital formats. This is your chance to be part of our dynamic team.

We’re looking for a subeditor to work on GT Wine’s brand-new custom publication created for Vintage Cellars called Cellar Press. The magazine is created every 6 weeks and varies in
page number from 50-80 pages each issue – it’s full of premium content about wine, beer, spirits, food and travel. The content of the magazine is very editorial in sensibility, with several pages of product profiles at the back of the book. This role requires a person who has a diplomatic nature when liaising with our clients. The candidate must also have a keen eye for detail, passion for correct grammar and punctuation and a natural flair for writing on-point intros and headlines. An interest in wine would be very helpful.

Your responsibilities would be to:

• Work with editor and art department to ensure all final layouts meet creative brief.
• Ensure the copy sets a premium standard in regard to creativity and tone.
• Fact-check articles.
• Participate in weekly production meetings.
• Ensure all deadlines are met.
• Assist with writing and subbing POS and promotional material.
• Sub-edit written material pertaining to Cellar Press.
• Write headings and intros and captions for Cellar Press.
• Liaise with Vintage Cellars team to coordinate delivery of revisions.
