St Maur Wines is a well-established family owned winery producing premium cool climate wines.St Maur Wines is located in the heart of one of Australia's newest cool climate appellations, the Southern Highlands, NSW and is part of the gentle revolution of the new generation winemakers. St Maur vineyard spans over 16 acres and the fruit from our vineyard is used exclusively in our Estate wines.
About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join St Maur's existing sales team. This is a customer-centric sales role and as such, you will need to be articulate, decisive, resilient, adaptable, proactive and well organised.
Your key focus will be to sell the brand portfolio in line with annual sales budgets and stretch targets. We are looking for someone on a part-time basis with a minimum of 2 days per week with Australian working rights.
Skills and experience
Key responsibilities will include:
- identifying and developing key customers in both on and off premise channels
- building long-term trading relationships with key venues and groups
- providing a high level of customer service and attention to detail
- meeting sales targets and regular weekly sales reporting
- delivering brand education and training to customer accounts
- maximising promotional opportunities including conducting regular wine tastings
- managing a geographical territory efficiently
- have a clear understating of Australian wine styles and regions.
- have a current driver's license and NSW RSA.
This is a highly autonomous role reporting to the main office in Exeter. As such you will have previous sales experience ideally in wine or within the broader drinks industry.
