Based in the picturesque Swan Valley, the Sandalford Estate has one of Western Australia's largest cellar doors and is a respected premium brand across both wine and tourism sectors. Drawing in domestic and international visitors, we offer multi-lingual winery tours on suspended walkways and extensive cellar door tasting experiences to compliment our award wining restaurant and functions.
We currently have an opening for a full time Wine Club Manager to join our team.
THE ROLE
This role overseas the daily operation of the Sandalford Wine Club and is responsible for managing the sales and marketing programs for the Club, as well as developing and overseeing a promotional calendar that encompasses digital, direct and loyalty marketing campaigns.
Working closely with the Sandalford Cellar Door, Winemaker and Management teams you will be enthusiastic, tech-savvy, have a can-do attitude.
You should be comfortable speaking with customers on the phone or in person and have established customer relationship management skills.
This is a truly amazing opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and hard working individual who has significant previous hands-on experience and proven sales results as Wine Club Manager or Assistant Wine Club Manager.
ABOUT YOU - Be a brand ambassador for Sandalford Wines in all aspects of your role
To be the person chosen for this role you must possess:
- Wine industry experience (at least 3 years)
- Sales and customer service experience - friendly, enthusiastic nature, and enjoy working with the public
- A passion for wine, and preferably hold knowledge and experience in the Swan Valley and Margaret River region(s)
- Excellent communication skills with a clear calm manner, comfortable talking on the phone and in person
- Highly motivated with the ability to sell premium wine products
- Attention to detail with administration duties and strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- A positive proactive leader who can connect with people at all levels to drive a positive team culture
- Demonstrated experience in successful event management / coordination
- Australian Drivers license; RSA certificate; and Police Clearance Certificate (issued within the last 6 months)
