Cellar Door Manager (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Lerida Estate is located on the Picturesque Lake George and is part of the Canberra District Wine Region.

We are seeking a Cellar Door Manager to join our team. The succesful applicant needs to be driven, career minded, customer service focused and of course have a knowledge and passion for wine!

 The Cellar Door Manager duties will include,

  • Day to day operations of the Cellar Door including administrative and housekeeping
  • Conducting wine tastings at the Cellar door and at promotional events
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and providing a remarkable wine experience to customers 
  • Planning, organising and hosting group tastings and market stall / pop up cellar door events
  • Monthly stocktake and inventory control
  • Maintaining Club Member and customer mailing list 
  • Updating our Website and Social Media including Facebook and Instagram  
  • Management, training and creating rosters for cellar door staff
  • Working in conjunction with the Operations Manager to drive Cellar Door Sales to achieve set goals
  • Processing and dispatching wholesale orders

As the successful applicant, you must

  1. be physically fit and able to lift a case of wine
  2. hold a current NSW RSA  and valid Drivers Licence
  3. be passionate and personable and deliver an amazing customer service experience
  4. be knowlegdable about wine and have experience in a wine or hospitality related field
  5. be a team player and lead by example
  6. have attention to detail and the ability to priorotise and multitask
  7. have a "can do" attitude and exceptional work ethic

The Cellar Door Manager role is full time, 5 days per week (weekends essential) with the occasional night functions or events.
