Vineyard & Cellar Hand (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

The following experience is required:-

  • Licensed tractor operator with vineyard experience, with fungicide/herbicide spraying and mowing.
  • A good understanding of viticulture, including pruning, vine training, irrigation, recognising vine diseases and harvest operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Good communication skills.

The following skills are desirable but not necessary;-

  • Vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Fork lift Licence
  • Wine cellar operations
  • Animal husbandry for Angus cattle, sheep and llamas

You will report to and work closely with the owner and  winemaker and become an integral member of our small team. 

This is a hands on full time position with weekend work required.

Applicants must have a valid drivers licence and own transport is essential. Also a truck, and/or skid steer licence would be desirable but not necessary.
