We are currently looking for a Permanent Part Time Employee to join the Cellar Door team as a Cellar Door Assistant / Second in Charge.
The Cellar Door Assistant / 2IC will supervise the day to day operations of the Cellar Door and will support the team to deliver high quality tasting experiences with sales follow through.
Other responsibilities will include the following:
- Conducting wine sales
- Engaging and hosting structured tastings
- Assist in building and managing the Mitchelton Wine Club and databases by encouraging customers to join
- Merchandising, ordering and stock control
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the Cellar door at all times
- Packing wine orders (some heavy lifting required, up to 16kg)
- Ensuring the customer experience is exceptional
- Enhancing workplace culture and ensuring our Code of Conduct is followed
The successful applicant will be knowledgeable and passionate about wine, have the ability to supervise, mentor and motivate team members, have a drive to maximise sales and membership sign ups, a high level of customer service and communication skills and will have great attention to detail. The successful applicant will also hold a current Victorian RSA and be available to work weekends.
