Pfeiffer Wines is searching for a passionate wine lover to join our cellar door team based in Rutherglen, Victoria. We are looking for someone that has a ‘can do’ attitude and a knack for talking to people from all walks of life. You will be an extension of our family, sharing our story and our exciting and award-winning range of wines, with happy customers.
This is a Wednesday to Saturday position with the option for job sharing. We are a people first, inclusive business, that believes everyone has the same chance to achieve their goals and succeed in their careers.
Sociable work hours (usually 9am-5.30pm) and wine discounts apply. The position also offers ongoing wine education with our winemaker, Jen Pfeiffer.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct informative and educational Seated Wine Tasting Experiences for visitors to the cellar door that will result in maximum cellar door sales opportunities and Wine Club recruitment.
- Facilitate a personal experience for visitors which is warm, caring, friendly and non-threatening.
- Maintain and manage accurate customer records and assist with Order Fulfilment as required.
- Manage daily administrative tasks for the cellar door sales operations and answer phone enquires.
- Carry out start of day and end of day duties in accordance with winery procedures and guidelines.
- Contribute and work effectively in a team environment.
