Laboratory Technician (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic Laboratory team at Growers Wine Group in Waikerie SA. 

This position is responsible for carrying out laboratory activities following company procedures and working closely with the winemaking and cellar teams to ensure customer specifications are met. The successful applicant will need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a high paced Laboratory. 

The main functions shall be: 

• Undertake all Wine analysis in laboratory within conjunction with other technicians. 

• Conduct wine trials as required by winemakers.

• Daily upload of results into computer reporting system. 

• Prepare necessary reagents for testing, conducting stock takes on consumables. 

Knowledge and understanding of a Winery Laboratory will be an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Some shift work will be involved.
