We are now seeking to appoint an experienced Territory Manager SA/WA, with a proven track record in growing sales, providing technical support and successfully delivering on agreed service outcomes.
Job Description
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working closely with the General Manager for Australasia, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and leading the promotion, sales and technical support for AMORIM Cork and VICARD Oak Wine Barrels through the timely and efficient delivery of solutions-based services throughout the South Australian and Western Australian territory.
This is a hands-on Territory Management role with management responsibilities of your entire client portfolio. You will be responsible for driving sales volumes, strengthening customer relationships and increasing market share across the SA/WA Territory. Developing relationships with key internal and external opinion-formers, including winemakers and supply-chain partners, your specific responsibilities will include:
• Lead sales & technical support across the SA & WA Region
• Implement accurate, timely & efficient service delivery outcomes
• Build credibility, rapport & generate sales outcomes with winemakers
• Coordinate & manage commercial product trials
• Champion customer service strategy aligned to quality outcomes
• Provide product performance, competitor analysis & market insight summary
• Contribute positively to the team in pursuit of organisational best practice
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Technical Account Management gained from within a service orientated, accountable and high-performance environment. With a proven track record of success in either the Wine/ Beverage/ Packaging/ FMCG or Scientific fields, you will be an inspirational leader looking to take the next step in your career. You will need to have demonstrated experience and ability to plan, develop and implement continual improvement initiatives at customer level through effective and efficient account management plans and strategies that deliver optimal performance outcomes. In addition, you'll need a strong customer service orientation, sharp commercial acumen, heightened negotiation skills and a passion for teamwork. Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science and/ or Oenology and/ or Viticulture will be well regarded. Naturally, applicants must clearly demonstrate knowledge of wine and/or winemaking.
