Cassegrain Wines is a successful, medium sized, privately owned wine business located at scenic Port Macquarie that has been operating for 30 years. Cassegrains is seeking a suitable experienced, qualified and creative individual with flair and innovative ideas in brand marketing and communications in a direct to consumer sales environment. 

Primary Objective

As a key member of the Direct Sales team, the Marketing Coordinator is essential to support enhanced marketing and communications for the business as a producer of fine wine and as a multi-faceted hospitality venue. Reporting to the General Manager, Sales and Marketing, the Marketing and Communications coordinator will have primary day-to-day responsibility for the development and delivery of an overall marketing strategy in line with company objectives. The following is an outline of the key tasks and responsibilities attributable to the role.

• Strategic Development and Campaign Execution – to develop, prepare and execute a marketing plan in consultation with key senior management personnel.
• Design and Creation of Marketing Materials – development of design briefs in correlation with campaign objectives and work closely with graphic designer to create online and print marketing collateral.
• Brand Management – Ensure the brand is consistently and accurately represented across all mediums and platforms.
• Digital Marketing Administration – Generate engaging digital content across all mediums and platforms to drive online traffic, sales and visitation. Post campaign analysis and measurement of effectiveness of online sales activities using tools such Google Analytics.
• Social Media Strategy – Strategic development and execution of engaging digital campaigns consistent with core brand values and objectives.  Updating and responding to all social media communications with attention to reputation management (Reviews via Trip Advisor, Facebook and other SM platforms)
• Advertising Coordination  – Create content/copy for the design and creation of advertisements in traditional media.
• Communications Administration – Ensure all customer enquiries are directed to relevant internal personnel and responded to accordingly.
• Strategic Partnership Development – In collaboration with senior management, foster relationships with various partners, external stakeholders and key influencers to leverage business development opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent.
2. Experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience in developing and executing a marketing and communications plan.
3. Demonstrated ability to write fluently and with grammatical accuracy in a range of styles and formats
4. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to operate as an effective team member
5. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation, including presentation skills
6. Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
7. Drivers license and reliable vehicle
8. Innovative thinking attitude
9. A current NSW RSA Certificate or willing to conduct training
10. Must be an Australian citizen or resident

Desirable Qualifications

1. Knowledge of the wine industry and wine hospitality would be an advantage.
2. Graphic Design skills and knowledge of industry standard software applications.
