Cassegrain Wines is a medium sized, family-owned winery located on the Mid North Coast, near Port Macquarie.
Our Cellar Door operates 7 days per week, providing wine sales & tastings and a range of merchandise and local produce.

Job Summary

The Cellar Door & Events Coordinator’s responsibilities include supporting and contributing to the ongoing development, delivery, and growth of the customer experience in cellar door and both onsite and offsite events.

Key Responsibilities:

A.      Planning

• Contribute to the development and preparation of agreed cellar door sales strategy; and plan for tasks and duties that you will take the lead on / contribute to.
• Contribute to the development and execution of a calendar of milestones including areas such as sales volume, repeat customer interaction, maintaining and refining the database and revenue growth.
• Assist in the development of and deliver a detailed event calendar for marketing channels.
• Contribute to the development of revenue targets and to the preparation of budgets

B.      Operational

• Contribute to the execution of the Cellar Door Sales Strategy which encompasses;
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service which requires intrinsic knowledge of the product and knowledge of consumer needs.
  • Effective maintenance of a clean database ensuring details are up to date, formatted consistently and reportable on.
• Effectively manage the cellar door day to day running and rostering. 
• Acquire new event opportunities i.e. corporate team building events, community group functions, business functions
• Oversee and manage set up, running and pack down of events
• Ensure all stakeholders, including twotriplefour restaurant and other winery departments, vendors, are properly briefed on a timely basis and on a need-to-know basis.
• The reconciliation and internal and external invoicing of all functions

C.      Financial and Administration 

• Maintain records of actual revenue and cost for comparison with estimated budget
• Ensure Financial Controller is briefed on a regular and timely basis on matters relating to advertising and other marketing activity that have an impact on cash flow
