Established in 1858 and still 100% family-owned, Tyrrell’s is one of Australia’s most acclaimed family-owned wine producers and a foundation member of Australia’s First Families of Wine.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to head the company’s Maintenance team, with the responsibility to oversee and manage the maintenance of all grounds, buildings, equipment and utilities of the facilities. This role comes with a fully maintained company vehicle.
The role will entail:
Management of the maintenance, mechanic and grounds staff.
Responsibility for scheduling and planning of projects and execution of preventative maintenance and building programs.
Ordering, requesting approvals, document preparation and where necessary contract negotiations.
Purchasing of major plant equipment.
You must have at least 5 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role over a facilities building and equipment.
It will be an advantage if you have experience with wine industry facilities, equipment such as general agriculture equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, including PLC experience.
The successful applicant for this role will need to have relevant trade qualifications, and a proven track record in managing a team. To succeed, you will be personally highly motivated, resilient and an excellent communicator.
