JOB DESCRIPTION
Pepper Tree Wines is a privately owned winery based in the Hunter Valley with vineyards in the Hunter Valley, Orange, Coonawarra and Wrattonbully. The small and dynamic winery team is on the hunt for an absolute ripper cellar hand to join them in a full time, permanent role. We are looking for someone passionate about making delicious wines with a strong work ethic and a good sense of humour.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required skills
- Hands on cellar experience ranging from crushing through to barrel work and bottling preparation
- High attention to detail and cellar cleanliness
- Ability to work six days a week for the duration of vintage (January through to May)
- Own reliable transport
- Must like bacon and egg rolls
Bonus skills
Experience in filtration and barrel movements
Forklift licence
