Under the leadership of a new Curriculum Manager, we are now looking to appoint two Programme Managers for the Bachelors (BSc Hons) and Masters (MSc) in Viticulture & Oenology. The Programme Manager role combines operational management, teaching and ensuring the delivery of the best possible experience to students through consistently high teaching standards and services. Providing students with well-designed and challenging programmes, the Programme Managers will incorporate highly effective teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring that students gain excellent vocational and academic skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the future development of the UK’s international centre of wine excellence.
Plumpton College delivers first class wine training, teaching and research, delivering wine business and production programmes from WSET Level 2 through to Masters level. Facilities include a commercial vineyard and purpose-built wine centre with laboratories, wine tasting room and both a research and a commercial winery. Our high-calibre graduates gain positions of responsibility, not only in the UK, with its rapidly expanding industry developing a reputation for excellent sparkling wine, but throughout the world.
We are seeking individuals with a wine or science related degree who can demonstrate the experience and ability to lead the development of teaching, learning and assessment across our Viticulture & Oenology programmes. You will be a professional, hardworking and confident team player with the ability to lead the development of teaching, learning and assessment across programmes and a strong desire to see students succeed in their field of study.
Salary £29,613 – 34,322 per annum plus relocation contribution, 37 days holiday plus bank holidays (as well as up to an additional 7 efficiency closure days at Christmas), membership of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme and free on-site parking.
