Assistant Manager (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

We have a newly created role for an experienced manager to work within our team.  You will be responsible for assisting the Hospitality Manager with the day to day running of our 300 seat restaurant Homestead Brewery and taking ownership of one of the busiest outdoor venues in WA - The Llawn.

This is a hands on role which will require weekend and evening work.  Applicants must have extensive relevant experience in running a fast paced restaurant, tavern or outdoor venue.  

The role will also enable you to learn and grow in one of the busiest venues in Western Australia.  Candidates that have a keen interest in boutique wine and craft beer would be advantageous.

  You will need to be able to demonstrate:

• A highly motivated team player with the ability to multi-task

• Ability to think on your feet

• Ability to run events up to 200 people

• In possession of a WA approved manager license

• Work with the venue management team to ensure the success of the venue

• Previous experience in fast paced environments 

• Willingness to up skill and learn different facets of the business from wine to beer, functions and events.

• A keen eye for details

• Able to monitor labour costs in line with budgetary requirements
