Read on… Award winning cellar door, vineyard and luxury accommodation provider, Nashdale Lane Wines, is looking for a permanent, casual staff member for an interesting and varied role. The position will include cellar door and online sales management, outdoor vineyard work as well as the potential to expand the role depending on experience and areas of interest. The ideal candidate should present well, be a self-starter, and enjoy working as part of the service industry. Must have a drivers license, current RSA and a passion for wine/ agriculture. Past roles in a service industry, WSET qualifications and/or hands-on agricultural experience viewed highly but not essential.

Responsibilities 

Cellar Door 

• Responsible for opening and closing cellar door 
• Conducting customer wine tastings
• Promotion of Nashdale Lane’s unique Wine Club 
• Talk confidently about different style of wine and winemaking 
• Manage cellar door stock with cool store facility 
• Manage online deliveries 
• Reconcile sales daily
• Management of customer database 
• Maintaining high standard of cleanliness and presentation at cellar door, customer facilities 

Vineyard 

• Assist with hands-on outdoor work including – putting wires up/ down, de-suckering, pruning etc as required throughout growing season 
• General vineyard maintenance  

Events

• Assist with management and facilitating of ad-hoc special events including weddings, VIP wine tastings, meetings or conferences etc
