See Saw Wines is an organic, innovative, wine business operating in the picturesque high altitude, cool climate region of Orange NSW.
The See Saw team are guided by the Chief Seattle saying "We don't inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children’'. We use 25 years of regenerative farming experience to nurture our land and craft cool-climate organic wines.
For the first time See Saw is establishing a Cellar Door site to showcase our wines and give our customers touch of and connection to the brand.
About the Role
The Cellar Door Manager will be responsible for supporting the broader team in establishing a the Cellar Door and customer experience.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Cellar Door with the aim to deliver an exciting tourism experience in line with the brand, increase wine sales, wine club members and provide education on organics and our sustainable farming and wine making practices.
Key Responsibilities will include
- Assist the See Saw team to develop the cellar Door customer experience
- Managing the day to day running of the See Saw cellar door, including hiring, rostering, booking management and staff development
- Ensure cellar door presentation meets high and on brand standards
- Managing guest experience
- Lead a team to achieve business objectives
- Create initiatives to drive direct to customer sales.
- Increase wine club subscriptions
- Work closely with the General Manager and Events and Marketing Manager
- Operate digital platforms, POS, CRM and online bookings
- Comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol

About you
This position is an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated, personable and skilled cellar door, hospitality, or tourism professional.
You will possess the following:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or wines sales industry or experience in a similar role.
- Skills in supervisions and management of staff.
- An understanding of wine and willingness to learn
- Have strong problem-solving and analytic skills to interpret sales performance and marketing trends
- A keen eye for detail and highly organized
- Ability to work in a team environment and individually
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication
- NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Valid driver’s license
