About the role
The purpose of the Quality Assurance Coordinator (Wine) is to provide technical & regulatory support to manage our Imported Wine & Third Party produced wine portfolios.

A key part of the role is signing off wine specifications & artwork that products meet legal & corporate requirements for both new lines & vintage changes. The role works with wineries from around the world as a key contact on annual audits, product quality, vintage & product changes as well as regulatory matters.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Managing a large portfolio of imported wine & third party wine through product & vintage changes - that specifications are reviewed, with artwork & approved to Australian & Pinnacle standards.
• Assisting our suppliers with our product specifications systems - ensuring we have tight controls in place to ensure our product records are maintained through changes.
• Working with our auditors & suppliers to ensure our suppliers are meeting our Pinnacle Drinks standards on manufacturing, environmental & ethical aspects.
• Investigating customer or store complaints on wine. Following up with suppliers & logistics on corrective actions.
• Representing quality assurance function & providing expertise to cross functional wine project teams.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Good understanding of quality assurance & good manufacturing practices.
• Experienced in working with & maintaining quality management systems & specifications.
• Technical experience & knowledge of beverage manufacturing, packaging & supply chain.
• Excellent communication - particularly with international vendors & internal team members.
• Knowledge and application of local and international regulatory requirements including Food Standards,  Australian Consumer Law, ATO & Customs requirements.
• Process improvement methodology – ability to continually refine, simplify & improve our practices.
• Problem solving & root cause analysis – ability to lead a facts based approach to solving product issues without emotion to get good outcomes for customers, suppliers & the business.
• Previous experience in writing operating procedures & assisting teams to gain or maintain external audit accreditations i.e HACCP / ISO / BRC
• Previous experience in working with internal vendors & third party producers.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to juggle priorities & manage expectations to deliver on time for suppliers & team members.
