We are an established South Australian brand with over 20 years of history and distribution in 25 countries. We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Domestic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have similar experience, a passion for wine and a desire to grow their career.

THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for;

• Development of domestic sales targets (distribution and direct to consumer - cellar door + online) and domestic sales strategy
• Execution of agreed sales strategy
• Contribution to the domestic marketing strategy
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Analysing market trends to identify opportunities
• Reporting and budgeting on sales
• Participating in sales activities and consumer events 

WORK CONDITIONS

• Must be able to work variable hours including out of hours (evenings & weekends) and interstate travel (20% estimate)
• Flexible work environment, will have a desk at Norwood office
• Must have current drivers license 
• Must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid Australian work visa.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Proven sales experience and contacts in the wine industry
• WSET Level 3 or equivalent
• Outstanding verbal and written communications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Social media management skills
• General business management skills
• A positive proactive attitude and the ability to connect with people at all levels to help drive a positive team culture
• An appreciation for accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to work within a small and focused team
• The desire to continue to grow skills and advance career

 

The salary will be negotiated based upon qualifications and experience within the framework of industry standards.
