The Courthouse Hotel North Melbourne is reopening April 2023 and is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor who loves pubs as much as we do.

The team behind Naughtons Hotel has given this iconic North Melbourne venue an extensive refurbishment and are excited to restore some of its former glory.

The newly opened Courthouse will feature a classic corner public bar, casual and formal dining rooms, private dining room and two boutique hotel rooms.

We are looking for a Bar Supervisor who can help us create a warm and welcoming community pub environment by serving up great drinks and banter.

We are passionate about all thing’s food and booze. Behind the bar we have partnered with local craft breweries, including a rotational hand pump ale. The spirit & cocktail selection will focus on Australian small batch distilleries, alongside a considered offering of no / low alcohol beverages. It goes without saying that a passion for wine and thirst to learn will help you excel in this role.

What does the role entail?

  • Leading the bar team in the delivery of warm and genuine hospitality
  • Writing cocktail list and selecting rotational beers
  • Purchasing beer, spirits and no alcohol products
  • Building relationships with regular and local clientele
