Thomas Wines is one of the Hunter Valley’s most renowned winemakers, nationally and internationally acclaimed for our exceptional, single-vineyard Hunter Valley wines, many of which have become modern benchmarks for the region. 

Our first vintage was produced in 1997, with an absolute focus and determination to specialise in producing world-class examples of the two signature varieties of the Hunter Valley, Semillon and Shiraz.

We operate a small, welcoming cellar door where the quality of our wines and their story comes first.  We nurture a fun, friendly, and easy-going atmosphere in our tasting room…but we are serious about the quality of our wines and about taking care of our customers, particularly our loyal Wine Club members.

We have created an exciting new role and are looking for a full-time dedicated Wine Club Manager. 

Based at our Cellar Door in the Hunter Valley, this is your chance to work with one of Australia's most awarded wineries, taking ownership of and growing our already successful Wine Club.

You will be our dedicated Thomas Wines brand ambassador, primary contact, and go-to person for all our Wine Club members. You will be the primary host for when our existing wine club members visit the Hunter Valley, ensuring they receive the memorable Cellar Door experience that they deserve.

This role also oversees the daily operation of our Wine Club and is responsible for managing the sales and marketing programs, as well as developing and managing a promotional calendar that encompasses loyalty marketing campaigns and events

This is a truly amazing opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, and hard-working individual who has significant previous hands-on experience and proven sales results.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes;

• Exceptional Customer Service.
• An outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
• A passion for premium wine and hospitality
• WSET Level 2 or higher is desirable
• Previous experience in Wine Club management is desirable
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Experience with Wine Direct e-commerce software will be highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• An appreciation for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent grooming and presentation
• RSA certification.

In this role, you will be responsible for;

• The management of all aspects of Wine Club member customer service.
• Hosting tasting experiences for our Wine Club members at our Cellar Door.
• Managing and driving Wine Club engagement strategies, acquisition and retention programs, and developing new initiatives.
• The planning, organizing, and execution of our regular member events.
• The planning, organizing, and execution of our regular member wine deliveries.
• Communication with members ahead of their regular Wine Club deliveries.
• Developing regular newsletters and EDMs
• Working closely with cellar door staff to maximize opportunities to acquire new members.

This full-time position will require some weekend and public holiday work. An attractive salary package will be offered to the most suitable candidate, commensurate with skills and experience.
