Wedding and Restaurant Co-ordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Leogate Estate Wines is situated at the foot of the picturesque Brokenback range in the Hunter Valley. This ultra-modern facility has been built as a centrepiece in the middle of the privately-owned vineyard, known as the original ‘Brokenback Vineyard’, planted in the late 1960’s. Leogate pride’s itself on offering a luxurious Cellar Door, Restaurant and Function Centre. 

We are seeking expressions of interest for a permanent full-time wedding and restaurant co-ordinator to be responsible for the following: 

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering a high standard of food and beverage service
• Assisting with staff development and training with front of house staff
• Ensuring the presentation of the restaurant is maintained to the highest standard
• Working co-operatively with fellow team members and contributing to team performance
• Help organise and plan events by liaising with clients and completing various internal administrative tasks and paperwork
• Run wedding receptions and other functions
• Respond to and follow up sales inquiries. This will include taking people on tours of the venue and describing our various wedding & function packages. 

The successful candidate will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:

• Strong commitment to customer service
• Food and Beverage experience, preferably in fine dining
• NSW RSA Competency Card
• Great attention to detail and thorough organisation skills to ensure events are planned meticulously
• Team player attitude
• Well-groomed and professional appearance
• Access to their own transport
• Weekend and holiday period availability
