Cellar Door Sales (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Thomas Wines specialises in premium Hunter Valley Semillon and Shiraz. Their award-winning Cellar Door Team is looking for a wine lover to join them in the promotion and sales of these Hunter Valley classic varieties.

This customer focused casual position is ideal for a results driven person who possess a strong ability to develop and maintain relationships, and that has a genuine passion for wine and the Hunter Valley. You will be required every Saturday, Sunday and Monday with other shifts as rostered from time to time.

Your key objective will be to deliver outstanding customer service while assisting with the day to day operations of the Cellar Door.

This Cellar Door Role requires

  • The ability to consistently achieve outstanding wine sales and Membership acquisition and retention results
  • General day to day cellar door operational responsibilities
  • Provision of exceptional customer service and organisation
  • The ability to always offer the highest quality experience for our customers
  • Maximisation of sales revenue by fully engaging and educating the consumer
  • Ensuring Cellar Door presentation standards are maintained
  • Promotion of the Hunter Valley

Our ideal team member will have:

  • A passion for wine and food
  • Strong sales acumen
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • A current NSW RSA and driver’s license (please do not apply if you do not have these)
  • A positive attitude and be well presented
  • An unrelenting desire to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Ability to work weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in Hospitality and/or Sales
