The Tahbilk Group is one of Australia’s largest wine groups, located in Central Victoria.
Two of our brands, Tahbilk and McPherson Wines are searching for sales superstar to provide representation within our local region. This exciting and newly created role offers flexibility, opportunity and the ability to work alongside a wonderful team people.
This position will be responsible for the sales and distribution of Tahbilk and McPherson Wines brands, to new and existing accounts within the Central Victoria Region. It will encompass a 1-hour radius from the Tahbilk Estate, focusing on key clients as well as engaging new ones.
Initially this will start as a part-time position which involves 3 days per week, with the potential to increase by generating and expanding the customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers, including restaurants, bars, hotels, retailers/bottle shops and others.
- Generate new business leads, converting them into long-term customers and loyalists of our brands.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.
- Execute clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Execute all sales attributes with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
- Pick, pack and arrange delivery/collection for all product sold (will require some medium to heavy lifting).

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Wine Industry/Hospitality sector or a proven sales track record in a similar industry.
- Negotiation and communication skills that lead to positive outcomes.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Current Victorian RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
