Do you have a passion for wine, a drive for engaging visitors and have management ambitions? We are looking for a Cellar Door Manager to take on the role of establishing & running a vibrant, customer focused Cellar Door in the beautiful Mt Benson wine region. Norfolk Rise is committed to a journey of sustainability, community, and quality with the aim of being an ambassador for one of Australia’s hidden gems of fine wine.
The cellar door manager will
- be responsible for ensuring an enjoyable cellar door tasting experience at Norfolk Rise
- complete cellar door orders in a timely manner, including all customer service follow-up ie: payment, delivery enquiries and changes to details
- be responsible for the website and social media engagement from Norfolk Rise, including planning and creating content and responding to enquiries through social media platforms
- work with the team to establish and maintain a wine club
- be responsible for a monthly stocktake on premise
- complete and track all online order shipments from order to delivery
- Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will be a bright & bubbly person who is willing to embrace any task and give it their best while demonstrating their innovative problem-solving skills. Experience in a Cellar Door, hospitality management or customer service roles will be favorably considered.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a cellar door or hospitality environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A passion for wine
- Excellent communication skills, time management, organisational, IT and administrative skills
- A flair for marketing & social media activities
- Current RSA qualifications
- Willing and available to work weekends.
