Middle Harbour 16ft Skiff Club, located on the Spit at Mosman, operate Skiffies Bar and Bistro.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced hospitality manager.
The position is for a permanent full time manager, who will be responsible for the day to day operation and management of the bar and bistro. The role reports to the Club Operations Manager.
Our bistro operates 5 days a week, Wednesday – Saturday Lunch and Dinner, Sunday is lunch only.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring hospitality manager to build and lead your own team at a prestige waterfront venue serving members and guests who come to enjoy the great food, friendly service and stunning location.

Successful applicants must:
- Have at least 1 years' experience in a similar role
- Current RSA
- Experience Supervise staff including the allocation of duties
- Manage the overall operation of bistro service
- Establish rapport with members that supports repeat and new business
- Continually update your knowledge and skills in procedures to enable coaching and training of staff
- Adhere to the Club presentation and staff grooming standards
- Proficient in all aspects of Bar and Bistro operations (eg: cocktail making, front & back office systems, ordering, cellar management etc)
- Understand club sign in regulations and be confident to relay this to guests
- Work collaboratively with the Club Operations Manager as well as the kitchen team to plan and execute:
- special events (eg: Mother's Day & Melbourne Cup)
- changes to the menu and wine list
- Manage group bookings, day to day security of venue & cash management.
