Trofeo Estate the home of terracotta wine is on the lookout for an industry professional with love, enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of wine to take over our cellar door operations.
Trofeo Estate is a unique winery and thriving restaurant set over 50 acres on one of the peninsulas oldest vineyards.
At the core of the estate is a philosophy that embraces the practice of biodynamics sustainability and old world wine making techniques.
The way we make our cool climate wine is what sets us apart, with use of Tuscan hand made Terracotta Amphora to age our wines.
The Cellar door Manager Role requires the following responsibilities, qualifications and attributes
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations of Cellar Door
- Provide genuine and engaging customer interaction and exceptional hospitality
- Convert wine tasters into wine sales
- Stock control of wine and beverage
- Processing of online orders
- Collaboration with tourism partners to promote estate
- Maintenance and promotion of wine club to increase customer loyalty
- Promote the Estates wine offsite when required to build brand awareness
Key Qualifications & Attributes
- Previous experience with Cellar Door management
- Extensive food and wine knowledge ( WSET advantage)
- Sales driven yet customer focused
- Current RSA Victoria
- Forklift licence (advantage)
