Crittenden Estate Wines on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager / Bookkeeper to perform the Accounts function and coordinate a small Admin Team at this well established and progressive winery.
This is a full-time position that will ideally suit a team player with proven Accounts & Office Management experience who can evidence they have worked in a similar hands-on ‘customer service’ environment.
About this role:
Your duties within in the business will include but are not limited to:
- Various administration duties for the wine business and other related family owned entities
- Administration and leadership of a team of 2 part-time office staff
- Managing inventory and stock related issues with multiple stock locations
- Preparation of BAS, PAYG & WET Tax
- Preparation and processing of payroll and commissions (15 employees)
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards and preparation of cashflow reports
- Financial and management reporting using Excel and Power Bi
- Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reports using Xero
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- A minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience including BAS preparation
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) would be advantageous
- Experience with inventory management software
- Exposure to cost accounting would be advantageous
- Exposure to Power BI or similar
- Able to work confidently in a high demand position
- Disciplined approach to documenting and solving problems
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills .
- Able to work in a small team and have a willingness to assist wherever needed
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Start date November / December 2019
