Based in Sunraysia, Advanced Viticulture & Management (AV&M) is one of Australia's leading vineyard management companies, with management operations in the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Limestone Coast and Sunraysia areas.
We are seeking a Vineyard Supervisor who is ready for a challenge to join our Sunraysia team. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a can-do attitude, with strong attention to details and be prepared to work out of normal hours when seasonal demand requires.
The suitable candidate will have significant experience in the following:
- Planning and monitoring of farm activities and budgeting
- Managing large scale harvest operations and logistics
- Supervising and leading employees
- Supervising pruning contractors
- Vineyard machinery operations
- Computerized irrigation system and operations
- Sprayer setup and calibration
- Coordinate machinery repairs and maintenance
The position requires the successful candidate to have:
- Formal qualifications in Horticulture or Viticulture (not essential but preferred)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Chemical Certificate (not essential but preferred)
