Industry Development Officer (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Fixed term contract / Part-time (approx.  three days per week – flexible)

Working in a small team environment, this is a versatile role that requires a strong sense of time management and attention to detail. This role would suit a candidate with viticultural experience, preferably knowledge of the Australian wine industry and project management and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision of services to winegrape growers in the areas of extension, viticultural assistance, program delivery, information collection & dissemination
• Identification of extension needs; preparation of project funding proposals
• Project management and reporting
• Representation at viticultural forums
• Sustainable Winegrowing Australia grower certification

Experience in the following fields will be highly regarded;

• Viticulture-related degree, or significant experience in this field 
• Input and representation on all matters of biosecurity
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small office environment
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite of products 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Display attention to detail and thoroughness in all aspects of your work
• Quality Assurance / Sustainability Protocols
