ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a well established specialist wine distributor in the Australian market. With over 5,000 customers across Australia they specialise in premium Australian and New Zealand wines.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the CBD Area Sales Manager, you will be accountable for achieving sales targets and objectives within your territory. This position is for those with well credentialed relationships who are able to relate to sommeliers / bar & restaurant managers / hotel and hospitality groups. Need to be flexible - able to work late evenings (meet with decision makers, e.g. Thursday evenings). MUST come from the on-premise sector with CBD experience. Thorough knowledge of Australian and New Zealand wine.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years' experience on-premise CBD.
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand wines.
- Highly developed rapport building skills.
- High interpersonal skills.
- Experience in relationship management.
- Negotiation experience.
- Report writing.
- Creative thinker.
